    Adriana Terra
My name is Adriana Terra. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I had always thought that I was destined to live there for all of my life. In 2009, however, my husband and I decided to move to Canada and ever since then my life has taken a completely different turn. While in Brazil, I had dedicated my professional life to help those who displayed some cognitive and speech impairments, so while following my husband in a teaching assignment in Ganzhou, Jiangshi Province, I had the opportunity to help him to reduce some of the issues his students had with accents and pronunciation. It was then that I decided that teaching was the right profession for me. Together, we have been to many different distant and exotic places, always trying our best to bring knowledge to our students. It was in China, however, the place in which I felt the greater bond to my students. I am greatly looking forward to help my pupils to reach all of their potential.
    Paulo Albuquerque
My name is Paulo Fernando Kastrup Pires e Albuquerque, but you may call me just PK. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but moved to California when I was a teenager. I have dedicated great part of my life to books and to sports. I played both soccer and Tennis at High School and University level. I have also been very fond of writing and reading, so becoming a sports journalist seemed to be the natural path of my life. After graduating from Golden West High School, in Visalia, California, I pursued a degree in Broadcasting Journalism, which I achieved in 1995 at California State University Fresno. After my son was born, I decided to go back to Brazil and work as a Sports Journalist. While working as a Journalist, I also continued studying, achieving another two bachelor degrees in Advertising, Soccer Coaching, and two Masters Degrees in Printing Journalism and Physical Education. In 2009, my wife Adriana and I moved to Canada, where I had the opportunity to work teaching after school Tennis at all of the Vancouver Unified Schools. During that time, I felt the calling towards a new career: Teaching. We, then, moved to Windsor, Ontario in order to achieve our teaching credentials. Both of us graduated from University of Windsor and started off our new careers in Ganzhou, China. Ever since then, we both have had a great variety of teaching experiences, but decided that China has a very special place in our hearts. We intend to make a difference in our students lives here in SIPFLS.
    Stephen Maxell
I'm Stephen Maxwell, I grew up in a small town called Lisburn in Northern Ireland and moved to Belfast where I obtained my Masters degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queens University Belfast. This will be my fourth year teaching Mathematics and Science in China. In my free time outside of school, I love to play sports, read books and have new experiences while travelling.
